Sambhar Masala

RECIPE
1. Take 1/2 cup Toor dal wash it, and cook in a cooker along with pieces of drumstick, pumpkin, onion, tomato, salt and turmeric.
2. Cook dal on medium stove till 3 whistles, then add 2 tbsp of thick tamarind juice, and add 1 tbsp Shyam Sambhar Masala.
For tempering,
3. Add oil -2 tsp, fenugreek seed-1/4tsp, mustard-1/2 tsp, curry Leaves- 10-15, dried red chilli- 1 and a pinch of shyam asafoetida,
4. Pour this tempering into the Sambhar, boil for 5 minutes and serve hot sambhar with dosa, idli or utpam.
